Having developed a passion for film-making while earning a degree in Political Science and International Relations, I am interested in the human interest side of story-telling. Because I come to film from a different discipline, I have a unique perspective on telling stories. After having traveled throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, and Central America and having encountered many cultures, I find that the world is full of beauty and that people are so wonderfully varied and different. After years of commercial filmmaking, my first feature length film was a documentary following the families displaced by the Castro regime in Cuba who owned tobacco plantations and supplied much of the world's fine cigar tobacco; that film is called Hand Rolled.
