Sinan Yalvac

Sinan Yalvac was born in Van, Turkey, in the 1970's. At 18, his career begun in a local TV station as a camera operator. Later, he moved to the biggest city in Turkey; Istanbul for better career opportunities. In 2004, he professionally worked at a Post Production company in the editing room; as an assistant and director assistant focusing on commercials. As an assistant editor, He mainly utilized Avid. About two years later, he worked at one of the biggest camera rental companies in Turkey, called TEM Studio. From there he worked with ARRI Arriflex 435, 535 and 416 Cameras as a 3rd assistant. His experiences also include working on many Music Videos and Commercials. In 2010, he attended Bilgi University for Photography. In 2012, he moved to United States to focus on his film career and education. Sinan took some courses at LACC and successfully completed Cinema Production and Cinematography certifications. In the USA, he works on many projects as a freelance Director and DP/Cinematographer; while working on his own creative projects.
