David was born on the south coast of England and, from an early age, always wanted to be an actor (or at least a performer of some kind). With school out of the way, he successfully auditioned for a specialist drama course where he honed his existing skills. At the end of the course, he joined the ranks of hopeful (read 'continually disappointed') actors - an experience he hadn't been taught in class. Determined to perform in some capacity, David side-stepped into magic (something he'd been doing on and off for years) He was soon performing a successful illusionist act called 'Beyond Belief' up and down the country. It went through many iterations before finally coming to an end several years later when he moved to Spain. And that was, apart from the occasional gig or extra work, the end of his performing career - or so he thought. Fast forward twenty(ish) years to a chance meeting in Armenia with a production company that was looking for a native English-speaking actor for the country's bold plan to produce Armenia's first horror show - Death Squad/Mahvan Jokaty (2019). That show was so successful, that it caught an international eye and he was recast in (basically) the same role for the US adaptation - Death Squad (2019). - available on the CWSeed Network. Now, with his screenplays and book series, as well as his acting and production roles - most recently in Purgatory (2020) - David's career has come full circle and he finds himself back where he has always felt he belonged. And the rest, as they say... Well, you know what they say!
