Frank Free

Dr. J. Franklin Free, a native of Atlanta, GA, burst on to the Indian film scene with a notable role in the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer (2019) as the villain Fyordor. Noted for his sinister demeanor and intimidating glare, he was discovered practically by accident in a chance introduction to the film's director, Prithviraj, through mutual friend Vivek Oberoi. "Frank", as he is known to friends, followed up that performance with appearances in the Bollywood political biography PM Narendra Modi (2019), the Amazon Prime cricket drama Inside Edge (2019), the ZeeTV Serial Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (2019), and Angrezi Medium (2020). Dr. Free was born in Opp, Alabama to Jerry Sr, a cattle farmer, and Fannie Williams. He is a combat veteran of the United States Air Force and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his actions during Operation Desert Storm. Dr. Free is an alumni of the University of Memphis where played on the football team and a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic. In addition to his acting career, Dr Free operates an international network of healthcare businesses and facilities.
