ZuZu Kandilige was born on November 16, 2003 in Seattle, WA. She entered the world of performing arts through improv classes and school theatre and was soon drawn to the world of film and television. With the help of her drama teacher, Diana Henderson, she started acting and modeling under agency representation in 2018. She is a 2021 August Wilson Monologue Competition Regional Winner and has appeared in the short film "Slice of Life" (Dir. Hannah Walls), Major Lazer's "Lay Your Head On Me" music video, as well as numerous theatre productions. She has training at the West End Stage Summer School Camp in London, England as well as training in acting for the camera, acting techniques, and theatre in the PNW. Her hobbies include film photography, reading, and screenwriting. She is also a student at CalArts and is working towards her BFA in Acting.
