Zhenya Braun

Zhenya Braun was born in Russia. From early on, she showed interest in both martial arts and acting. Having obtained a Black Belt and the title of a candidate for Master of Sports in Taekwondo at the age of 13, Zhenya soon after has moved to Sofia with her family, where she continued to sharpen her craft by participating in international competitions. During one of her tournaments she got an injury, which forced her to leave professional sport for good. Being unable to exercise for about a year, Zhenya plunged into the study of Acting. She begun revealing her artistic nature by attending Drama classes and taking part in projects at Nu Boyana Film Studios in Sofia. Having an extensive knowledge and experience in martial arts, she has implemented many of its principles on working with concentration and psycho-physical memory into Acting. She went to Moscow for several years to explore Method Acting and polish her art in theatre performances and then moved to London to continue her education. Zhenya graduated Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with a master's degree in Acting for Screen in 2019. She lives and works in London.
