Alex Leontev was born on March 2, 1971, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He is a musician, writer, film director, actor, and producer. Because of his parents worked in the oil/gas industry in Russia, his family changed a few living places. Ultimately in 1982, they were moved and stayed in small-town Nadym in Siberia where he grew up and lived for 18 years. Also, he has a sister Nadezhda Rychagova, she is a professional artist, lives in Moscow. During school time Alex was interested in music and photography. In the age of 15 he started to play guitar. After several years he joined band "North Syndrom". Later on, In summer 1993 the band was sitting at Stas Namin recording studio SNC in Moscow working on album called "Seek What We Lost". Moreover, getting priceless experience and knowledge by working at the real analog recording studio, what totally got him, he decided to get started to dive more in-depth, to the science of sound engineering. In 2004 he moved to the United States with his family. His wife Olga Leonteva is an actress, also involved in the production sound department. He has beautiful kids. Daughter Alexandra Leonteva and son Daniil Leontev. As soon as he moved to Los Angeles, always self-motivated, he was taking acting and intensive classes, voice and speech sessions. Practical tech camera courses and classes, learning cinematography. Filmmaking is always staying one of the major aspects of his career and his life.
