Melisa Daly

In 2017 Melisa left a successful career in finance to form production company Kickass Chick Flicks with business partner Johan Bosma. In its inaugural year, Kickass Chick Flicks received 3 nominations in the South Australian Screen Awards. In 2019 Melisa produced and directed a short adventure documentary titled The Tipping Point which received an Award of Distinction in The Canada Shorts Film Festival, was selected in the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival as well as various adventure/ocean film festivals in the UK, France, Belgium and the USA. More recently she produced short film Untitled Thoughts which screened at the Cotswold Film Festival as part of Mental Health Awareness week, was a finalist in the Sweden Film Awards and Southern Shorts Awards. And while steadily building her creative portfolio, she also works within the industry - she was Extras Coordinator on the STAN/BBC production of The Tourist and following this commenced work as Production Coordinator on the upcoming Rolf de Heer movie The Mountain.
