Yosma Semerci

Born in Germany to Turkish parents, Yosma Semerci's childhood playground was her local theatre in Kiel. The second youngest of 7, Yosma would sneak backstage and watch the performances from the wings. Her heart and soul alive as she watched, her dream, for her future, was born. Participating in productions through school, Yosma yearned to act professionally and with 5 older siblings, Yosma grew up watching innumerable movies across all genres further fuelling her passion for film. With an impeccable work ethic and yearning for independence, Yosma worked hard and graduated from Deutsche Bank, working successfully for them as a banker in Hamburg. Opportunities as a model arose and popular with both clients and photographers, culminated in her cover of Der Spiegel's, June 2008 Spezial edition. Creatively unfulfilled Yosma left the corporate world and with her desire to act still alive, Yosma moved back to London in 2016 to focus on her acting career. In the next 3 years she had added a feature film and an additional 3 short films to her screen acting portfolio. Full of ideas and positivity Yosma enjoys writing and devising and has several writing projects underway.
