Anthony Dixon was born in Harlem, NY into a family of artists that included his grandmother, pioneer R & B songwriter, vocal coach Gladyces DeJesus and cousin Obie Award winning writer Paul Carter Harrison. While living in Brooklyn as a young adult he formed and became the bass player for the band "Universal Touch". (In the mid 90's.) The band obtained a deal with Inner circle records and by the early 2000s Anthony transitioned his musical talents and began working on Theater productions. Some of the plays included, NEC's the "Waiting room" Directed by Charles Weldon and "Waiting 2 end Hell" Directed by Woodie King Jr. in sound design. Anthony's path in the arts had been overshadowed by his years of commitment working in Corporate America as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for companies: Bank of America and Coca-Cola. However, his creative achievements still prevailed. While wearing a corporate hat by day, Anthony managed to create and compose the musical "Futurology the Musical" co-writing the book with Sandra J. Barnes. This musical reached Off-Broadway status in the spring of 2013 and continued production over the next five years. Galvanized by Mr. Trump being elected president in 2016, Anthony turned to his method of copping by writing a song. With the intent for the song to be a creative venting mechanism, the song grew into a rhapsody of stories and melodies. By Late 2017, the song developed into a video, then crossed artistic barriers into a short film, and ultimately a full feature film called "Rhapsody in Justice". Influenced by the ongoing events of the Trump administration the screenplay developed in real-time reflecting the climate created by the M.A.G.A. revolution. Financed out of his own middle-class pocket and blessed with experienced talent who trusted his vision, the journey to making his first independent feature film was complete.
