Carmen Juares

Carmen Juares is an Honduran-Spanish social activist. She has taken part in multiple initiatives in the field of labour rights, feminism and anti-racism. The intervention of Carmen Juares at the Pregó de la Mercè 2018 (2018), Barcelona's largest arts and culture festival, contributed to a greater awareness of the conditions faced by migrant domestic workers in Spain. She has appeared on a number of TV and radio channels and newspapers including TV3, betevé, Cadena SER, eldiario.es and El Periódico and has written articles for Público, Pikara and Amazonas.
