Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1981, Felipe Macedo Lemos (a.k.a FM Lemos) made his career working as a creative director at major advertising agencies, winning many national and international awards. Until when he reached his 36 years he decided to dedicate himself to his great passion, cinema. He studied in São Paulo at the Latin American Film Institute and from that moment on he started to dedicate himself to the art of making films. It all started in 2019 when he was part of the feature film Placebo Effect where he contributed as a screenwriter, art director and executive producer. In 2020, he released the short film 11 Minutes, in which he was a producer, director and screenwriter, on the festival circuit, where the film was selected for exhibition in the most different countries of the world such as India, Turkey, Uruguay, Spain, England, Portugal and United States. Today he works on his next authorial project, the film 1906.
