Diana was born in Safford, Arizona on January 5, 1980 to Frances (Avalos) and Frank Uribe, an auto mechanic. Diana came from a family of four brothers and three sisters and is the fourth oldest. Born with the love for music and acting passed down through her grandfather Avelino Avalos who played in many bands throughout his life even landing a spot on the Johnny Carson Show, Diana dreamed of becoming a singer. Diana was the first in her family of 8 including both her parents, to complete and graduate high school. At the age of 18, Diana gave birth to her son Elijah (1998) who due to medical malpractice suffered from Cerebral Palsy, later she mothered a daughter, Kiana (1999) and two more sons, Joelle (2002) and Ethan (2006). For the majority of Diana's life she was a single mother but remained inspired and focused on her love for music and acting. Diana begin singing and performing at local county fairs at the age of 6, singing "Cold Hearted Snake" (Paula Abdul) with her older sister Marlena and her older cousin Michelle, Diana and her trio placed third, a small but encouraging victory. Diana continued to receive positive feedback from the audience and went on to perform "She's Single Again" (Janie Freckle), "Walking After Midnight" (Patsy Cline), "Hold On" (Wilson Phillips), "Don't Speak" (No Doubt) and many other songs during state, county and city singing battles. By the time she was in her early 20s, Diana tried out for the first American Idol in Phoenix Arizona, standing in line for 13 and a half hours but sabotaged her own audition when last minute she changed her song "Walking After Midnight" (Patsy Cline) and sang acappella to a song she wrote (Break of Dawn) a County song inspired by Reba McEntire forcing judges to disqualify her for being unable to place her accordingly. Still Diana refused to give up, she auditioned once more for American Idol several years later but never placed, still refusing to give up Diana auditioned twice for Country Colgate Showdown and eventually stopped competing when she was 24 due to surgeries and medical issues with Elijah. Diana struggled with depression since the early age of 7, at which time she secretly tried to suffocate herself hoping her death would provide more food for her brothers and sisters but the incident was not successful. As Diana grew up she found it difficult to stay focused on her life with four kids and working two to three jobs at times just to provide for her family. She battled with abusive relationships including one that landed her in the hospital several times escalating to the point of the local safe house for women in her hometown (Globe) assisting her by setting-up a fake arrest to get her and her children away from the abuser. In 2008, Diana auditioned for a commercial and was later Casted by Helen McCready, C.S.A, and landed a speaking roll for the commercial "Cool Smiles", which later decided to cut out the speaking roll but still aired across Arizona and New Mexico. A few months later, Diana heard of a movie being filmed near her hometown "Jakes Corner" and went to audition for the main speaking roll of "Ricki" but was a day late. Diana was still on-set of the movie for a short period, as a bar patron. In 2013, Diana divorced her husband Paul Baumgartner, after 7 years of marriage and decided to pursue her education in audio engineering. On a whim, Diana took her daughter Kiana and travel two hours to tour the private school, Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) a school Diana longed to attend for the past 13 years. Unprepared, Diana toured the school and knew in her heart this is where she needed to be. On that same day, unbeknownst to her Diana was given an interview and asked why she wanted to attend CRAS, after she gave her answer "Because this is my home, this is where I belong" Diana was immediately accepted into the school. During school at CRAS, Diana was introduced to many influential individuals one of whom became a close mentor and befriended Diana early, Joe Morris. Joe is a highly sought after drummer/percussionist who toured and recorded shows with artists like Esteban, Paul Cotton, Poco, Steve Vai, Jay Davidson, Whitney Houston, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, Ramsey Lewis, Greg Koch, Reggie Hamilton, Chuck Rainey, Bobby Vega, Robert Scovill, Ray Riendeau, Jesse McGuire, Kim Stone, Gary Hoey, Rusty Young, Barely Legal, Lewis Story, The X files, Chill Factor, A Thousand Acres, Touched by an Angel, Chicago Hope, Millennium, Dallas, General Hospital, Another World, John Grishams "The Client", Fame L.A. and many more. Diana became an assistant to Joe on his touring trips to Sedona while in school at CRAS and helped set-up and tear down sessions during shows with guitarist "Esteban". In 2016, Diana received a message from her friends Travis Amery and Robert Conway, who were filming a movie "The Covenant" and asked her to play a small role as nurse, at which she agreed. Although, Diana was never given credits for her small non speaking roll, Diana remains positive in pursuing her acting career. During internship at CRAS, Diana had her heart set on Nashville but a small opportunity arrived placing her thousands of miles away from home. Diana begin internship on 2016 at Blue Planet Studios in Oahu, Hawaii and eventually after a long drawn out custody battle with Ethan Diana managed to graduate from CRAS and to date resides on Oahu auditioning for Hawaii-Five-O.
