Ben Markwart

Ben Markwart was born February 27, 1984 in Little Falls, NY and was raised in Holland Patent, NY. He is a graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Currently he is a professional Funeral Director and Embalmer. Ben was selected for Odd Man Rush during an open casting call in December of 2018 in Clinton, NY which was his first paid role in the industry. Prior to entering the funeral industry full time Ben played semi-professional hockey for the Bozeman Stingers of the Black Diamond Hockey League (BDHL) which consists of teams from Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Utah. Ben has two sons, Jackson born in 2015 and Eli born in 2018, with his wife Gabrielle.
