Elizabeth Ababio

Elizabeth Ababio is a young, ambitious director/screenwriter aiming to make it big in the world. She has a flair for the dramatic and her unique tastes will shock and grab your attention. Her tastes including thrillers, suspense, murder mysteries and dramas. Getting her start drawing and writing at the age of 3, she has always worked to be a storyteller. Having self-published her own novel at the age of 16, she studied 2D animation at the Art Institute of Vancouver (now LaSelle College), then switched to Langara College where she found her love for film in the Film Arts Program. Writing and producing two short films [Presentation (2018) and To Keep Her Safe (2018)] (the latter winning the 3rd place Audience Choice Award at Langara's Unlock the Vault event, and aiding the child actress in winning her first Joey award) and directed two more short films [Detective Ultra (2020) and Sanctuary (2020)], (the former having been selected to screen in the Whistler Film Festival). Following graduation, Elizabeth has continued to create and work on films, aiming to entertain, inspire and shock those that view her work.
