British Indian actor. Speaks fluent English, Hindi and German. Expressive, articulate and highly empathetic. Sanjana has in depth knowledge of cinema as well as experience working in both film and television. She studied Comparative Literature, Film, Culture and German at Royal Holloway University of London, receiving the Margaret Atkinson Prize for best performance and examination in literature. She was selected by the BBC's New Voices project to talk on BBC Radio London about the negative impacts of bullying and social media and how to provide support to young people who are struggling. Sanjana has acted in two Indian series made for the digital platform Zee5. She worked as a talent manager at the London Indian Film Festival as well as the BFI London Film Festival managing high profile talent including Anurag Kashyap, Anubhav Sinha, Joe Talbot and even Robert De Niro! She also worked as a runner at Pinewood Studios, on the sets of 'Not Going Out' with Lee Mack and 'The Mash Report' with Nish Kumar. She has taken classes at Rada and Actor's Door Studio in voice and movement as well as the Meisner technique. She is also a member of the National Youth Film Academy, and has completed the SetReadyCourse - her short film (Young Adults) was screened at the Raindance Film Festival 2020. She trained at the Unseen Drama School from October-December 2020. She took the Acting for Camera Level 2 course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama from February-March 2021.
