Greer Purnell

My name is Greer Purnell. I am an actor, screenwriter, and comedian. Before I was 10, I found that I would create movies and TV shows in my head, and became determined to be a voice actor. I focused this interest into becoming a stage actor in eighth grade, and had a breaking point with acting when I moved from my home town of Arlington, Texas to a private boarding school in Atlanta, Georgia. The private school was small, which helped me grow academically and theatrically. For example, I helped my acting class win several Georgia Independent School Association ("GISA") state competitions, and won a trophy for best performer in the winter of 2014. I became confident that, no matter what, I would shine. During college at Savannah College of Art and Design ("SCAD"), I translated this experience into the other side of acting: Film and Television. As I worked up the ranks I started to become a household in SCAD by working in many student films, Low Budget Independent films. Becoming also popular through word of mouth while simultaneously was able to learn and adapt to auditioning processes getting use to recitation of the Business side of Acting. Turning my weakness into my strengths. Honoring and Sharpening skills and respecting my Study and techniques in becoming the best possible Version of myself in my Craft by Creating Imaginary Circumstances within me and projecting them through the Characters. Through the very Beginning of Journey of my Acting, Writing, Comedy. My talents have become a power and insightful symbiosis of Monumental Proportion. It is time now to earn my rightful place as one of the Greatest of all time I am now ready to take my acting career to the next level, and I look forward to discussing my experience and abilities further.
