Anthony Sayo

Anthony Sayo is an award-winning actor born and raised in the Philippine-province of Bulacan. His mother, Elena Sayo, is a pediatrician, and his father Rodolfo Sayo, is a pharmacy owner. He grew up in a household with five other siblings. At a young age, Anthony was influenced by his older brother Joseph who is big into fantasy films, 80's action movies, and wrestling entertainment. These early influences have instilled in him a passion for acting at a very young age. Anthony attended the University of the Philippines, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Politcial Science. His family was grooming him for a career in law. However, as he matured and grew older, his love for cinema only grew stronger - and with it his decision to pursue a career in the creative arts. Anthony's first training ground for acting is the International Academy of Film and TV in the Philippine island of Cebu. In 2019, he flew to America to pursue acting in Hollywood, and continued further education in the performance arts in the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory in Santa Monica. He is now based in Los Angeles, and has notable performances in several independent projects like Good Day (2021), and Kaiketsu (2021). He was also a recipient of the "Best Actor" award given by the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival for his performance in "The Withered Ghoul's Ceremony (2021). His next films scheduled for release are Mantis Club, Stalemate, and Tears at the Edge of the World.
