Davide Petrosino was born in Nocera Inferiore on the 21st of February 1993. His love for cinema begins at the Giffoni Film Festival, where he had been a juror for seven years (from 2006 to 2013). In 2008 he is in the jury of the Hamedan Film Festival, a prestigious Iranian festival for children and young adults. In 2015 he graduates with honors in Cinema, television and new media at RomaTre University. In 2016 he becomes a student of the National School of Cinema (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia) - class of direction - where he graduates in 2018. In 2019 he wins the "best director" prize at Fiumicino Film Festival with his short "La Cage". His degree film, "Memories of tomorrow", participates at several festivals in Italy and abroad, including Sedicicorto International Film Festival (Italy), the prestigious Camerimage Festival (Poland) and Ningbo International Short Film Festival (Cina). A year after his degree, he realizes the documentary "Strike! - Fighting For a Future", co-produced, co-written and co-directed with Francesca Floris and Pietro Jellinek. In the same year, CSC calls him to shoot "A Couple", a short film produced by CSC Production.
