JC Robinson

JC Robinson is a versatile actor, playing roles from a troubled father who can't live with his crimes, to an NA facilitator via a dominated husband, pitted against his brother by his manipulative wife. Born in Cork in 1966, he followed the career path of engineer and academic - after he completed his PhD in engineering he lectured in Trinity College Dublin for 5 years, University College Cork for 1 year - started his own software company, but his passion for acting surfaced in his mid-thirties. With this late start he was constrained by the normal responsibilities of a father of three. JC spent a number of years living in France with his, then, young family and speaks fluent French. As the big "5" "0" approached he decided to go back to acting in 2016, training at the Irish Film Academy and then under Tom Kibbe. Having developed his skills in "modern realism" he now searches for roles that will challenge his range and allow him to mine the depth of his own emotions.
