Caryette (Cary) Williams' entertainment career began in the Performing Arts Curriculum at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. She got her first taste of the stage in her high school's production of "One Flew Over The Cookoo's Nest." She went on to produce and host television and radio shows "Teen Profiles" and an episode of the television show "The Scene" at Detroit's TV/Radio station WGPR. She holds a "Lifetime" FCC license. Over the years, Cary has produced and hosted a variety of Los Angeles area public access television shows, like The Mooney Twins Show, The Elsie Taylor Show, and The Computers, People & You Show. She also hosted shows at listener-sponsored radio station KPFK (90.7 FM). Her hobbies include teaching runway modeling to women and girls, and she works with fashion designers to produce fashion shows. Cary is also a respected poet in the spoken word community. She calls herself a "Late Bloomer, Baby Boomer." Nevertheless, between raising a family, work, being a student, and taking on web and graphic design clients, she was able to continue working as a runway model and earn three associate degrees, computer science, interactive media design, and real estate. Cary is now on course to complete her fourth associates degree, which will be in Film, Television, and Electronic Media from Los Angeles City College. From there, her plans are to attend University of Southern California (USC), culminating in completing her Film and Television Production, B.A. In the meantime, she looks forward to collaborating with her classmates, instructors, and industry professionals to complete an impressive portfolio of high quality programs for YouTube and Television, including documentaries and feature films. Cary's most recent love is in using her multi-talented skills as an actor, producer, director, and film editor. Her most notable acclaim was being NOMINATED FOR BEST SHORT at Los Angeles City College's 2019 Cinema & Television Awards Show, sponsored by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HPFA). It was the first film she had ever produced. In 2018, she was cast for a starring role in the short "These Walls," directed by Jose Miller. You can be sure that Cary is focused on her 2020 vision.
