Melina Alessandra Cermeno

Melina Alessandra Cermeno is a 15-year- old Latinx actor and dancer from Vancouver B.C, Canada. Half Guatemalan and half Nicaraguan, Melina is a driven and hardworking actress bringing representation to the screen. Melina is a bilingual English and Spanish speaking actress. Melina fell in love with acting at the age of 6, with her first love being musical theatre. She trained at Arts Umbrella in their musical theatre intensive, where she knew that performing and being on stage was her passion. She became a triple threat, where she could now sing, dance and act. On the stage is where Melina feels most at home, and thus her dream to move to New York City and go to NYU blossomed. When Melina turned 11, her seriousness and commitment to on-camera acting for film and television became something she wanted to do full time.
