Fernanda Belmar

Chilean filmmaker with a bachelor's degree in Digital Audiovisual Communication, she moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to pursue her dream of becoming a film director. She is studying an MFA in Filmmaking. Fernanda's storytelling is based on social issues and human struggles. As a student, she had written and directed multiple films. Her last film Undocumented has been selected in multiple festivals like NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, and South Texas International Film Festival. Belmar has been part of many crews in different positions, like grip, 2nd AC, UPM, and especially as an editor, one of the last films she edited was "No Longer Perfect" which got officially selected for 5 categories at LACA. Her last job was at Dame Dash Studios where she edited multiple shows. (August, 2020)
