Adolf Käis (August 25, 1946 - October 24, 2013, Tallinn) was an Estonian film director, actor, theater producer and host. Adolf Käis was born in Estonia, but as a child he moved to Latvia and grew up in Riga. He studied at the Tallinn Maritime School. He graduated in 1989. In 2006 he was director of the Moscow State Theater Institute (GITIS). He performed at the Tallinn State Theater and the Russian Theater of Tallinn. Adolf Käis led the Narva Public Theater and the Tallinn Russian Theater. From 1991 to 1994, he worked as a director in the Russian edition of Estonian television. From 1994 to 1998 in Radio Tallinn (later the radio station changed its name to Radio 100FM) was the first Estonian Russian-speaking private radio as a leading and editor-in-chief.
