Ghanatabadi Vahid

Vahid Ghanatabadi was born in Tehran Iran in 1986. Studied acting with Reza Ashofteh (Iranian writer and cinematic critic) in 2002. Studied civil engineering in 2007, also participated in the university's theater as an actor. After graduating from university, studied directing, script writing and acting at Samandarian Institute Art School in Tehran. Wrote, directed and acted his first theater "Code 99" in 2012 and was chosen as the best student of the year at Samandarian Institute Art School. Created the first Instagram series in comedy genre "eqeep" in 2016, which is still on going. Wrote, directed and acted his first short film "Chaharshanbesozi" in 2017 and got into the 6th International Urban Film Festival. Studied script writing and direction with Farzad Motamen(Iranian Director) in 2018. Wrote and directed a short film "This Is Not Only a Game" in 2018 and got into the 48th Roshd International Film Festival. Wrote, directed and acted another short film "Happy Birthday" in 2018-2019.
