Knial Saunders

Knial Saunders is an award-winning writer & director utilizing intimate narratives as a vehicle to explore aspects of identity, multiculturalism, sexuality, and mental health. A first generation American by way of Barbados - Knial spent his formative years immersed in the West Indian culture which continues to inform and shape his perspective to this day. Knial is an alumnus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television Production as well as a minor in Photography. At present, Knial is based in Los Angeles, CA where he is a third-year graduate student in the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, where he pursues a Master of Fine Arts in Film Production.
