Tata Khachatryan was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on August 2, 1994. In 2006, Tata Khachatryan entered the Children's Theater Studio at the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, which later moved to the St. Petersburg Theater of Musical Comedy. In the same year, Tata made her debut on the stage as "Anastasia" in the eponymous musical and appeared in the short film "Scheherazade" where she played the lead role. Then followed musicals "Oliver Twist" (2010-2013) and "Aladdin" (2013-2016) on the stage of the St. Petersburg State Theater of Musical Comedy and opera "Duke Bluebeard's Castle" (2010-2013) on the stage of the Mariinsky Theatre. In 2012, Tata Khachatryan received an invitation from the Russian actor and film director Viktor Merezhko to play one of the lead roles in the TV series "Khutoryanin." She also appeared in the TV series "Dr. Richter" (2017), "Weddings and Divorces" (2018), "Major" (2018), "Lantcet" (2019), "The Shadow Behind" (2019), and "Contract" (2019), among others. In 2013, Tata Khachatryan moved from St. Petersburg to Moscow where she entered the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts - GITIS, the Faculty of Theater and Film, from which she graduated successfully in 2017.
