Trina Del Rey, born in Torrance, CA. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology from the University of Southern California in 2006, and later earned her Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from USC in 2009. Her love for acting began in elementary school at St. Margaret Mary where she joined the drama club under the instruction of Debbie Wastling, and performed in a number of small plays and skits, including Macbeth, and The Importance of Being Earnest. She continued her participation in drama club at Bishop Montgomery High School where she landed the role of "Puck" in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in 2002, with Mr. Eugene Master's as her drama teacher. Later, as she pursued her education, career as an Occupational Therapist, and began to raise her family, her love for acting became forgotten. She would eventually seek out her calling to acting again in 2018, when she began taking classes at My Acting Studio, under the tutelage of Charles Tentindo, and Henry Watkins for improv classes. Acting has always been a passion for Del Rey since her pre-adolescent years, and in her adult years, has found the art to be extremely therapeutic as she began to struggle with depression, anxiety, and recently diagnosed Sjogren's disease. Her knack for public speaking, extemporaneous speech, and oral presentations skills is a gift she attributes to her mom, Teresita, who has always had a natural gift for writing, public speaking, and speech writing. Volleyball, snowboarding, running, singing and spending time with her husband and daughter are some of her other most meaningful and therapeutic occupations.
