Catriona Anne Blackburn

A visual anthropologist with a first class degree in anthropology (BSc), I also hold an MA in film with practice. I am an award winning film maker with films featured in multiple festivals, a published academic visual anthropologist, as well as a having my first film a main feature in the Women Cinemakers magazine. A single mother to a child with special needs, I completed my education as a mature student. My experience goes far beyond the technical to that of the dark places in life. Daughter to a pagan druid father, and a well travelled mother, I have a way of seeing the world differently to those within my own culture.
