Claude is a genocide survivor who is originally from Nyanza, southern Rwanda. He works as a market trader in the Kigali City Market. As a young child, Claude witnessed the murder of several of his family members during the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi and grew up in refugee camps and an orphanage. Claude is a lifelong Liverpool fan and an active member of the Rwanda Reds fan club.
