Alex Motherwell is an actor, known for To the Moon and Back (2019). Motherwell was born on December 21, 1986 in Toronto, Canada. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Business, Motherwell worked in Finance on various trading desks in Toronto and New York before leaving to pursue acting in 2018. After completing evening and weekend classes at the New York Film Academy, Motherwell spent 8 months in London, which included attendance of workshops at the Ovalhouse led by his friend, Eugene Simon. Making his theatre debut, Motherwell appeared on the Vancouver stage with a starring role in Lucy Kirkwood's revival of "Chimerica". The play was widely-received and ran for four weeks at the Jericho Arts Centre.
