Jennifer Gionfriddo

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and is of Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Italian descent, Jennifer always had a passion and interest in entertainment. One of her first passions was singing and she had her first performance at the age of eleven performing the song, Hopelessly Devoted to You in a choral concert for her school. Jennifer always had a strong affinity for lifestyle modeling growing up, with people approaching her for projects on a continual basis. Although she went to college to study Biochemistry at Kennesaw State University, her passions resided in entertainment and she found herself pursuing the arts once more after college - this time, modeling, and acting in addition to singing. She built up her modeling portfolio and signed with Atlanta Models & Talent agency. A couple notable achievements in her modeling career include making the cover of Road Iron Magazine and was featured in a commercial including Shaquille O'Neal. She also placed at a local beauty pageant as Most Photogenic. In 2014 Jennifer was approached by a casting agent to be Jennifer Lopez's Stand In and Photo Double during the last two week's of filming Viola Davis's film, Lila and Eve and it was on this set that Jen fell in love with acting and never looked back. She moved to California and trained with John Ruskin (who was Sanford Meisner's apprentice) at Ruskin School of Acting where she learned the Meisner technique to dramatic acting and still trains at this school to this day. Today, you are likely to see Jen in one of Ruskin Group Theatre's monthly productions of "Cafe Plays" where plays are written for actors within a few hours, which are then rehearsed and memorized by the actors and performed that same night.
