Alex Miniak

Alex Miniak is the exclusive voice of Petco Park for the San Diego Padres, and host for events surrounding, and including, the 87th MLB All-Star Game and 2020 American League Postseason. As one of only thirty Public Address Announcers in Major League Baseball, his work is featured prominently in-stadium, and live across national and regional telecasts on FOX, ESPN, and FOX Sports San Diego. In 2019, Alex took on the role of PA Announcer in Sony's MLB The Show franchise, his first foray into video game voice acting. Prior to joining the Padres, Alex also worked behind the mic for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park and enjoyed a career in radio broadcasting as an on-air and commercial talent with iHeartMedia. Beyond media, Alex has worked with celebrities like Kellie Pickler, Vanessa Lachey, and Food Network's Melissa D'Arabian, to host events in major markets for Silk, Stonyfield, and Ben & Jerry's, respectively. His voice can also be heard in the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class international ad campaign. Recipient of the prestigious Red Barber Award at the University of Florida, Alex is a proud Gator, and graduate of the College of Journalism and Communications.
