Dino Sofos

Dino Sofos is a journalist and podcast producer. He was born in Sheffield, England. He is the founder of the production company, Persephonica. He previously led the BBC News Podcasts team, where he created hit formats, including Brexticast and Americast. Brexitcast won the Listeners' Choice award at the British Podcast Awards in 2019. In 2019, Dino launched the daily Newscast, which is one of the most listened to podcasts in the UK. He also adapted these podcasts for television on BBC One and BBC World News. Before this, Dino worked in radio, launching John Pienaar's Sunday morning politics show on BBC Radio 5 Live.
