As a kid, I always knew I wanted to work in the film industry but never had the guts to pursue it. Working in this business seemed impossible to me - basically a pipe dream. As an athletic kid, my priorities shifted towards sports instead - specifically basketball. And I was pretty damn good. I received over 20 Division I full scholarship offers to play college basketball and ultimately decided to play for the University of Vermont. It wasn't until I graduated law school and practiced law for a few years that I finally built up the courage to follow my passion. I remember spending hours in my office googling "how to be an actor," "is 27 too old to start acting," and "should I quit my job to become an actor." I reached a point in my life where I was completely unhappy with what I was doing. I knew that if I was ever going to make a dramatic career change, it had to be now. So - that's what I did. I left my law career, moved to Nashville, and launched my career in film full time. It is never too late to follow your dreams!! Life is too short to do something you don't love!
