Chris Thigpen is an actor, filmmaker, writer, improvisor, & comedian. He has worked with Reno Improv company in Reno, Nevada as an improvisor with groups called "Ghost" and "All Things Reconsidered". Chris also has worked on several short film projects with the Reno Film Collective in Reno, Nevada as an actor, filmmaker, and writer. Chris has performed as a comedian at Cobbs Comedy Club in San Francisco, There Goes the Neighborhood, Laugh Cellar in Sonoma (In the Vineyard), Oakland Comedy, Northern Nevada Pride, Stay Silly Comedy, Crazy Rich Wines, Reno Tahoe Comedy, Truckee Comedy, and Dead Panda Comedy. He's opened for many comedians such as Chaunte Wayans, Jill Kimmel, Kevin Farley, Jenny Yang, Will Durst, Ron Josol, Kibir Singh, and Aida Rodriguez, to name a few. Chris is an immigrant. He was born in Olongopo, Philippines and moved to the United States when he was 4 years old. He was later nationalized as a US citizen with the help of his military father. When Chris became of age, he later joined the Navy to serve his country. He is a US Navy veteran. Chris also is a co-founder and owner of Ace Studios, with his partner Kurt. Ace Studios is a multi-media marketing and design agency based in Reno, Nevada.
