A happy Nashville transplant, Deborah Seidel, originally from Pittsburgh, PA, spent many years in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles performing in theater, film, and television. She took a hiatus from acting to raise her daughter, Sarah, then returned to performing after moving to East TN in 2013. She was cast in a variety of roles in several episodes of Snapped and Murder Comes to Town before moving to Nashville in the Spring of 2019. She immediately jumped into the film and television scene in that city, landing leading roles in The Alpha Test - a horror film released in early 2020; Homicide Hunter; Translation of Memory - a short film; and One More Time, a Nashville Film Institute film. She was recently cast as the mom, a leading role, in Everyone Will Have Long Hair in Heaven, directed by Christopher Lee Herod and filming in the Fall. Commercial work includes Bose, O'Charley's, and Greater Knoxville Honda. She enjoys performing in music and other videos and has also done a variety of print work since moving to Nashville. Deborah holds a BFA in Theater and did post-graduate acting studies at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art under a Fulbright Scholarship. She is an avid yoga practitioner, vegetarian cook, hiker, and traveler. In fact, she and her husband spent a month in Panama and Costa Rica this past January and are actively learning Spanish in preparation for their next trip to Central America!
