Jeff Dunne is primarily a writer and actor in the Greater Baltimore region. He is also an occasional director and/or producer of short films and stage productions. As an actor, Jeff began on stage in college in the mid 1980's. He continues to act in community theater (and online since the COVID pandemic). He started appearing in films in 2015, at first in corporate training films and later in short- and feature-length pieces. Jeff began writing short stage plays in 2013, but only sporadically. In 2017, he began writing more aggressively, expanding his catalog from 7 scripts to nearly 40. As of October 2021, Jeff has written over 150 scripts and screenplays, approximately three-quarters of which have been filmed or staged across North America, Europe, and Asia. Dunne's writing has won awards in nearly one hundred festivals and competitions, and is intended to spur people to see things in a new light. He aims to remind audiences that the universe is a complex and mysterious thing, and that meaning and value emerge not from some fictional objective absolute truth, but rather from the interplay between substance and context.
