Eduardo Schönenberg

(b. 1987, USA) Born into a German / Salvadoran family, I was always astounded by how different my own parent's cultures could be. Films have always given me a perspective into other ways of living I otherwise would have never experienced. My intentions are to use my own cultural stories to create films that will give audiences these different experiences. When I was a young kid I was mesmerized by Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now and realized I was meant to be a filmmaker. I am a cinematographer and am passionate about storytelling through shaping light and camera movement. I have the honor of being mentored by Robert Primes ASC, who has changed my perception of life and career. I've also had the privilege of being awarded in international film festivals around the world.
