Sarah F. Katz

Sarah F. Katz is a screenwriter and producer with a background in cybersecurity. Her screenplays have placed in the BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival, American Screenwriters' Conference, Filmmatic Screenplay Awards, Inroads Screenwriting Fellowship, Near Nazareth Film Festival and Zed Fest Film Festival. Katz served as writer and executive producer for the sci-fi short films At the End of the Canyon and Rationale, the latter of which is based on her short story appearing in Thriller Magazine. Additionally, she wrote the screenplay for the family fantasy feature The Adventures of Tom McGuire and acted as writer, assistant director and executive producer for the drama feature Into the Valley based on real-life privacy and content moderation scandals in Big Tech. Katz's fiction writing has earned an American Fiction Award, a Cygnus Book Award for Science Fiction and a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award. Her short stories have appeared in 365 tomorrows, AHF Magazine, Scarlet Leaf Review and Thriller Magazine. Her nonfiction work has appeared in Cyber Defense Magazine, Dark Reading, Infosecurity Magazine and Tech Xplore.
