Octavian Iacob

Octavian Iacob is a director that strikes through his brilliance and remarkable talent at a young age. Destined for greatness, he remarked himself by becoming the only Romanian accepted at the New York Film Academy as a result of winning the International Film competition with his 2018 'Lust for Life' moving picture which he directed. He gained contact with acting in his childhood by playing in different commercials and then progressing to act for Castel Film Studios in international productions. Having this affinity for cinematography, he pursued his passion further and expressed his creativity as a director of captivating music videos for multiple artists. His cinematographic skill-set goes even further, as he developed diverse experience by working together with the director Kader Ayd and the producer Alain Depardieu as an assistant director in the 'Back 2 Back' movie. Having the relevant experience combined with a dedicated professionalism and creativity towards his art, Octavian Iacob is the upcoming visionary behind the Romanian cinematographic lenses who can paint through his scenes and mesmerize the audience with his upcoming ambitious production - 'One Second Movie". A psychological drama, the first Romanian movie to address this issue, raise awareness and offer worldwide emotional and psychological support through cinematography.
