Pramod Shastri's tryst with cultural activities started right from his higher secondary school days. The association continued till his college days, where plays written and directed by him bagged accolades at university and state-level festivals. After graduating from Dr, Ram Manohar Lohiya Awadh University college, Pramod Shastri headed to the city of dreams Bombay and joined the budding Film & television industry. Started as an assistant and worked his way to become a director. After this director Pramod Shastri wrote and directed "Kisse Roke Ruka Hai Savera" tv serial which became very popular on DD Kisan channel. Pramod Shastri was one of the few people who graduated from television to the world of cinema real fast. After he embarked on producing the film Aapan Mati Aapan Des starring megastar Ravi Kishen. The film bagged major awards at the most prestigious awards for Bhojpuri cinema "Bhojpuri Film Awards". Pramod Shastri then turned to direct the films. Rabba Ishq Na Hove, Chhalia, Pyyar Toh Hona Hee Tha are some of the path-breaking films that were made in his direction. These films featured big names from Bhojpuri Cinema. The films centered around socially relevant themes yet had a dash of the commercial element, probably it is for this reason that the films tugged at the heart of the masses and completed a successful run at the box office. Aan Baan Shaan, one of the most talked-about mega starrer Bhojpuri films, directed by Pramod Shastri is ready to hit the theatres in the month of January 2022. Currently, Pramod Shastri is busy mounting his debut Hindi film. The film based on touching social issue will go on floors in the month of Fab 2022 and be slotted for release in the festival season of 2022.
