Kate Shaw was born in Toronto, Canada, where she first trained in musical theatre. She then moved to New York to attend NYU Tisch Drama, studying at the Atlantic Acting Studio and Stonestreet Studios, where she completed her BFA. She is working in film, screenwriting, and voice over, and she also has experience in singing (RCM Level 10), Piano (RCM Level 6), stage combat (unarmed certified) and comes from a dance and sports background (go Blue Jays!).
