Jordyn Tomars

Jordyn Tomars was born on January 24, in Takapuna, New Zealand. As a New Zealand Maori of Ngapuhi descent, Jordyn spent her formative years in New Zealand where she credits her family values, sense of humour and grounded approach in helping mould her outlook on life. Jordyn moved with her family to Australia in 2009 and maintains a passion for acting that has lead her to be actively involved in the industry from a young age. Jordyn has gained experience on numerous film and television sets, and was recently nominated for 'Best Supporting Actress' at the 2021 Martini Awards. Her other recent credits include; "Seriously Red", "The Apricot Princess", "RUTH", and upcoming TV crime drama "Beyond Truth". Her interests also extend to writing, where she has just finished writing her own short film. Jordyn has perfected her US accent with dialect coach Peter Kent, and is completing intensive training with Brad McMurray, US acting coach Kristina Sexton and Emmy Award nominee Tom McSweeney. She is consistently studying with her mentors with great passion, work ethic and dedication. Jordyn constantly strives to absorb the knowledge of as many reputable industry professionals as she can to further hone her craft.
