Nadia Zreik

Born and raised in Syria, Nadia came to Canada in late 2016 to pursue a long-life desire to study and work in the filmmaking industry and has called Toronto home ever since. She discovered her passion for scriptwriting in college, feeling the urge to write and tell stories about people and topics not commonly featured in film and television. Drawing inspiration from her background, real-life events and news headlines, she recently wrote and directed a short drama revolving around immigrants' struggles. Nadia is a graduate of Humber college's Film& TV production program.
