Giulio Pettenó

Filmmaker, I live and work in Milan, I graduated in Direction at the "CISA International Conservatory of Audio Visual Sciences" in Locarno in 2019. In 2017 I made the first documentary "Umberto D." third place in the #movieofmylife Locarno70 competition, shown in Piazza Grande during the festival. In 2018, I made CISA's "Designer in Visual Design (FILM)" of CISA, "Grand Hotel" as a diploma work, a documentary on the history of the Gran Hotel in Locarno presented at various festivals. In 2019 I was selected by Béla Tarr for the Mountain in Loneliness workshop for which I create "Rita" as part of the collective work "Under The God" shown Out of Competition at the Locarno 72 Film Festival. I conclude the year of specialization in Documentary Direction / fiction with "Notturno". During Locarno72 I am selected to participate in the Filmmaker Academy.
