Rachel Bartel

I'm a recent graduate with an MFA in dramatic writing, a bachelor's degree in electronic arts: video studies, and a minor in computer science. While in school, I had the opportunity to write, direct, produce, assistant direct, shoot, set design, gaff, run audio for, and everything in between for multiple projects in both film and television. I've received many awards and accolades for projects I've headed and worked on. I specialize in comedy, sci-fi, and action. I am enthralled by the mystery genre, and am in the process of writing one as I type this. I write in the same genres with an emphasis on animation for young adults. I usually write for television, but I've written a couple of features that I'm especially proud of. Some inspirations for me in both my writing and filmmaking are "Spongebob Squarepants", "Chowder", "Monty Python", and "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K."
