Garland Joey

Joey Garland was born December 24, 1968 in Carrollton GA. to the grandson to Country music Hall of Famer Bud Mote. Garland attended Douglas County high school finishing out his senior year at Alexander High school where he excelled in the study of electronics. He was a member of Alexanders first graduating class. Toward the end of his high school years Garland had a passion for pro wrestling. Garland's ring name is J. J. Boone. He later became co-owner and trainer for All pro Championship Wrestling (APCW) Garland still to this day performs in the ring on occasion. After high school Garland pursued a career and followed his childhood dreams by following the family legacy in the music business. Garland ventured to Nashville and although he was known as a good Drummer was soon recognized for his songwriting talent. Garland ended up serving on the board of National Songwriters Association International (NSAI). Garland was also a member of the Georgia Music Industry Association (GMIA) where he was a top competitor in songwriting competitions only to later become the President of the Association. Garland has had his songs recorded by John Michael Montgomery, Zac Brown to name a couple. Garland was fortunate enough to co-write with Zac Brown.Garland started producing recording projects for other writers and recording Artist eventually building his own studio. Garland had a desire to start his on traveling variety show that has been running now for 13 years. The show has performed at the Branson Star Theater in Branson MO as well as other parts of the country. In the mid 90's Garland dove into acting where he appeared in several Law enforcement Training films. Garland has always had the desire for acting but the Producer in him keeps coming to the top. Garland's recording studio has expanded to a film studio as well with editing capabilities as well as audio tracks. You can always find Garland on stage, in the ring, on the screen or behind the Camera.
