Niraj Shojan, born on 02 June 1991, is a filmmaker. Niraj Shojan started his journey as a freelance photographer and one of his photographs got published in the National Geographic article by Henry Wismayer. His birth name is, Niraj Prasad Singh, and is from Bhagalpur, Bihar now residing in Mumbai, India. Niraj Shojan did his schooling from 'Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro' & Bachelor in Engineering from 'CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore'. After B.E. he joined an IT firm - Accenture and worked there for 3 years as an Application Developer. Thereafter he moved to Mumbai to pursue his career in filmmaking. His father, Janardan Prasad Singh, is a civil servant and his mother, Shova Rani, is a homemaker. His recent music video "Surmayee Nain Tere (2020)" releasing from Zee Music Company featuring "Sandesh Gour" and "Sheetal Tiwari". He has attended various workshops on cinematography and screenplay writing in Mumbai during his starting years and is very inspired by the work of the film "Gone with the Wind (1939)".
