Shadie Mphaphuli

Shadie Mphaphuli is a producer/director known for the movie Man in Crisis (2019). He is an experienced broadcast professional and Graduate with an Honors' Degree at Wits (TV) School of Arts in film and television. He has crafted his career in different fields including Writing, Director of Photography, Producing, Editing, and Directing as well as a few acting roles in Theatre. Since 2003, he produced and directed three feature films, two of which were TV Movies and VOD releases, while Man in Crisis has gone on to gain theatrical release and soon to be distributed internationally in 2020. He also brings a vast inter-continental experience, having worked in over 14 African countries, 5 European countries, as well as Brazil, Canada and the U.S.A. Being a seasoned broadcaster in various television networks, he has also worked as a show runner and an originator for over 6 television shows in South Africa.
